Vishal is a Chartered Accountant and CFA Level II Candidate. He has graduated from HR College of Commerce, Mumbai. Has worked with Suresh Surana & Associates (i.e. Member firm of RSM International), Mumbai and R. P. Goenka Group’s flagship Company KEC International Limited, Mumbai. He holds extensive experience in dealing with Capital Market Intermediaries, Credit Rating Agencies and Bankers.
He has managed Main Board & SME Public Issues. He has handled more than 450 valuation transactions. He has worked on sophisticated and robust valuations including Business, Debt & Equity Instruments, Convertible Instruments and Intangible valuation.
He also specialises in Due Diligence of Alternative Investment Funds (“AIFs”) and advises Clients in finalising of fund documents like Private Placement Memorandum, Investment Manager Agreement, Trust Deed & Contribution Agreement.
He has worked on valuations for Inbound & Outbound Investments) under FEMA Regulations, Fairness Opinion under SEBI Regulations and ESOP Valuations. He has handled valuation exercise for Portfolio Companies of Private Equity funds based in tax heavens. He regularly advises on transactions like Demergers, Takeovers, Private Placements, Slump Sale, Rights Issue and Purchase Price Allocation (“PPA”) Study. He has been involved in providing advisory in Family Disputes, Financial Due Diligence, Acquisitions and Corporate Governance.
He joined Galactico with exposure in the field of Corporate Audit Services, System Review, Management / Internal Audits, Statutory Audits, Corporate Accounting, Drafting of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Manual, and Fixed Asset Management. Apart from this, Vishal focuses on compliance assurance from management standpoint. He provides value addition to the clients in form of control lapses and proactive compliance management so as to avoid regulatory traps. Vishal is a matured solution oriented person to partner clients beyond accounting and tax solutions like Cost Reduction strategies, Internal Control Review, Implementation of ERP and MIS. Vishal has also carried out audits of various listed, large and medium size corporate clients.
